I've been invited to try Time4Learning for one month in exchange for a candid review. My opinion will be entirely my own, so be sure to come back and read about my experience. Time4Learning can be used as a homeschool curriculum, for afterschool enrichment and for summer skill sharpening. Find out how to write your own curriculum review for Time4Learning.

We got to try out Time4Learning over the last month.  I will say we limit our 7 year old son's screen time a lot, so he only got to use it once or twice a week.  I thought I would have a little more say in when our trial would start, so a 9 day trip also fell into that.

He really liked it.  He went through many of their science series since science is a weak point in the boxed curriculum we have been using.  I felt like he was genuinely learning and the tests were challenging.  The bulls were his favorite part of the science.  He went through a little bit of the math, but not very much.  He also enjoyed that.

I am going to be honest, in 30 days unless we used it as our school full time (and we didn't) there is no way I could even touch the depth of the program.  When I login and look at the parent resources they are mind blowing!  I am simple, so I am not even certain how many of them I would use, but WOW!  You can set up your child's schedule and give them assignments.  I did not do this because I didn't mess around with my teacher login more than one time.  I am admitting to you that I under-utilized that month!  But it was a month full of ear infections, doctors appointments, allergy tests, etc, etc.  So, I am a little bit of a victim of circumstance.

My only huge negative is that it is all computer...obviously.  This works GREAT for some families.  Our son, however, when on the screen too much has minor to major focus and behavioral issues afterward which is why we limit his time on a screen.

I think the educational content is good.  My only concern with science was there didn't seem to be a ton of units, but maybe they are only supposed to do one little section a day.  He did a whole unit!  He loves science, though.

Thank you to Time4Learning for letting us check out your site!  It is really cool and will be a wonderful tool for many people.  For a affordable cost, this could be a life-saver for some!
